GWINNETT COUNTY - Gwinnett County Police need the public's help to find a man wanted for an attempted robbery.
Police say he attempted to rob the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville on December 23, 2015.
According to police, he entered the business and asked to use the restroom. When the male exited the restroom, he pulled a semi-automatic pistol out of a backpack and walked into the cooking area.
He fired one shot into the floor as he approached employees, according to police. The employees ran from the business through the back door.
The suspect left the restaurant without obtaining any cash or causing any injuries.
