JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. - Law enforcement in Jackson County is on high alert after a reported stranger danger which happened Tuesday at a school bus stop
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said the encounter happened on J.S. Williamson Ct in Nicholson, Georgia sometime after 4 p.m. Investigators said two children got off the school bus and a suspicious car pulled into their driveway. The children told deputies a man and woman got out of the car, told them he was from DFACS and advised them to get into his car.
Investigators said adults at the home confront the couple, who promptly left.
Deputies describe the car as possibly being a light blue Chrysler 300. The man was described as wearing a dark suit and the woman was wearing a red suit.
Authorities warn residents to report any suspicious person, crime, or incidents by calling 911 immediately.
