HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Hall County investigators have arrested a mother for cruelty to children after they say she failed to get her son treatment for alleged abuse.
On June 20, police had arrested 28-year-old Bobby Franklin Lomax Jr. for fracturing his 4-year-old stepson's leg and beating the child in the head.
Now, Hall County deputies have arrested the young victim's mother, 28-year-old Nikki Renee Lomax, when an investigation said she failed to report that the boy had been beaten previously.
In that incident, police say the boy had his arm broken, which had been left untreated by both Bobby and Nikki.
Investigators also said the boy had not been given medicine prescribed for his seizures.
Nikki Lomax was arrested and booked into the Hall County Jail. She has been charged with second-degree cruelty to children. Bond has been set at $11,200.
