Police: Stepdad arrested for fracturing stepson's leg

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A man has been booked into the Hall County Jail after investigators say he fractured his 4-year-old stepson's leg.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office arrested 28-year-old Bobby Franklin Lomax on Wednesday after an investigation.

Deputies say that the child had been to the hospital with the fractured leg and also had several abrasions and bruises on his face. He has now been released from the hospital.

Officials believe the incident happened at a home on the 5100 block of Hightower Road.

Lomax has been charged with first-degree cruelty to children. Currently, no bond has been set.
