It's been five years since the last Braves team made the playoffs. Braves country hopes this team of young, exciting stars will start a run of playoffs memories starting Thursday night on the West Coast.

It's a pleasant surprise and a pleasant place to play in Dodger Stadium in Historic Chavez Ravine. The first-base dugout will be used as the Braves dugout during the series, which might make them feel a little at home, but it's nothing like home.

Dodger Stadium can hold about 56,000 people. That's compared to the Braves' home turf of SunTrust Park which can hold a little over 41,000. The crowd will be loud and rocking Thursday night.

There were a few raindrops falling in Los Angeles on Wednesday, but here's hoping for better weather for first pitch Thursday night.

MORE: Braves in the Postseason coverage

The Dodgers have only won two more games than the Braves which is why the Braves aren't going to be changing who they are in the Postseason.

"You know, we put 'em in situations that challenge them for the last six months and they've come out of it so again, I just want them to go out there, I don't want our team to go out there and reinvent ourselves, we are who we are, we play the game we play it. it's been good enough, you know, it's been really good, not good enough, it's been really good and I don't want those guys to go out there and think they have to do something completely off the wall or whatever different and I told them that in September," said Brian Snitker, Braves Manager.

The one thing they may face that is different is a bit of a shock treatment on the time difference. Wednesday, they worked out at 7 p.m. at the Dodger Stadium time, but that's 10 p.m. SunTrust Park time.
