SKYFOX 5 flew over the station around 5:30 p.m. and spotted the mess left behind by the break. All outbound trains were forced to share the southbound tracks to move through the station causing delays.

Officials said a sewage pipe from nearby apartment broke, flooding one of the sides of the train tracks. Crews were able to stop the flow of sewage into the station but would need to clean the spilled sewage before returning train traffic back to normal.

Sanitation crews worked late into the night to sanitize the northbound tracks.

"Manure," passengers said, commenting on the smell.

"It looked pretty nasty down there," said another passenger about the slime gathering on the bottom of the tracks.

No word on the cause of the break.
