Police arrest teenager after reported carjacking in Midtown Atlanta
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta police said a teenager who used a scooter in a carjacking was arrested in Forsyth County.
Police said a 15-year-old boy and another suspect rode e-scooters up to a man 100 block of Ponce de Leon Avenue near Piedmont Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
The victim told officers they attacked him and stole his rental car.
Police were able to identify one of the suspects and learned Forsyth County deputies had arrested him Thursday on unrelated charges.
