It happened in the Forest Cove Apartments located on Meadowglen Village Lane off of Pleasantdale Road. SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene around 5:15 p.m. to find ladder trucks pouring water on one of the units. Flames could be seen shooting out from under the eaves.

Firefighters struck a second alarm to fight the fire. It took a little over an hour to get the first under control.

The Red Cross said they will be helping the residents through Monday with lodging, food and other essentials.

Firefighters said no one was injured during the blaze.

The cause is still under investigation.
