FAA: Delta flight to Atlanta diverted after possible lightning strike
CHATANOOGA, Tenn. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Delta flight from Milwaukee to Atlanta was forced to divert and make an emergency landing Tuesday afternoon after the pilot reported a possible lightning strike.

Delta Flight 2050 landed safely at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport in Tennessee at 3:38 p.m. after the pilot made that emergency declaration, the FAA reports.
The McDonnell Douglas MD-90 took off from Georgia Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee at 12:47 p.m. local time. It was scheduled to arrive at Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International Airport at 3:40 p.m.
The FAA said 164 people were aboard at the time.
There were no reports of injuries.
