Matt Fox, a Process Improvement Specialist at CHOA, decided to pop the question and asked Kally Ramminger, a Music Therapist at Egleston, to marry him. He proposed on the rooftop helipad of Egleston, which is a spot that's near and dear to their hearts.

The couple met several years ago while Fox was interviewing for a job at CHOA, and he quickly "swept" her off her feet.  Early on in their relationship, Ramminger told Fox she could always hear the helicopter at work, but she'd never flown in one before. So, he took her on a surprise helicopter ride around Atlanta for their second date.

"Children’s has been an integral part of their story from the beginning, so for the engagement, he wanted to come full circle by incorporating that same element of surprise in a meaningful location," the hospital said in a news release. "In careful coordination with the Children’s flight team, he invited Kally to the helipad to pop the question."

The heartfelt proposal was captured on camera.

"Matt says the fact that they both work to fulfill the Children’s mission every day –  to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow – gives them common ground in their relationship," CHOA said. "They share the same values and at the end of the day, he says, it’s all about the kids."
