Classes resume after air conditioner issue at SW Atlanta elementary school

ATLANTA - Students were evacuated from a southwest Atlanta elementary school Wednesday morning after an incident in the cafeteria.

Atlanta Public Schools said an issue with an air conditioning unit in the cafeteria at Cleveland Avenue Elementary School caused a loud sound. The students were evacuated as a precaution. 

No injuries were reported. 

The school is located on Old Hapeville Road. SKYFOX 5 flew over the building as firefighters responded to the scene. 

Classes have since resumed.
