KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Spring Training is all about trying out new things and seeing things not normally seen during the regular season.
The Atlanta Braves are no different as they began their final spring at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports in Kissimmee, Florida.
FOX 5 Sports caught something they thought they would never see except in their wildest imagination on Monday.
Old-school manager Bobby Cox was thumbing his way through a smartphone like an old lineup card!
Now eight years into his retirement as manager of the Braves, he still is contributing to the success of the team.
But maybe the youth of this team is also rubbing off on him.
Who says you can’t teach an old skipper new tricks?
FOX 5 Sports Director Ken Rodriguez reporting from Atlanta and FOX 5's Justin Felder on special assignment in Florida.
