Go Dawgs! " the crowd chanted, a surge of red and black making its way into Mercedes-Benz Stadium Saturday afternoon.  Answering those cheers, a chorus of Auburn fans: "War Eagle!"

All, excited for the SEC title match-up.  Little Shayla Dahr, decked out in blue and orange, down to the elastics on her braces, held a stuffed tiger, while her parents, held hopes of a win.

"Why do you like them?," FOX 5'S Kaitlyn Pratt asked.  "Because they're good," she replied.

Number 2 Auburn, playing number 6 Georgia.  The two met last month.  And now Georgia fans want revenge.

"We're going in, baby. It's going down," Keith Barker said, outfitted in a bulldog patterned tuxedo. "This isn't for luck.  This is festive!  I'm wearing this to church Sunday," he added.

Screams could be heard from outside the Benz as the sun went down and emotions remained high.

"We don't want to think ahead, but only want to win this game right here," Brandon Whaley said, waiting outside the stadium for friends.

But hopes here, crumbled for Auburn.  Demolished just like the Georgia Dome next door.

"It got ugly."

"Georgia played a good game," forlorn fans said, leaving the stadium with two minutes remaining.

At the tailgate sites outside, screams of joy were frenzied and immediate when the clock ran out.
