Woman wanted in mail theft, credit card scam

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman accused of stealing a south metro Atlanta resident’s mail and signing up for a credit card in that person’s name.

Authorities say the woman went to a post office in Senoia, where she posed as a resident who was there to pick up their mail.

Police say the woman had illegally stopped the mail delivery to the person’s residence so she could intercept the fraudulent credit cards.

Anyone with any identifying information is asked to contact the Senoia Police Department or 911.
