Man killed in apparent robbery; suspects sought

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are searching for two suspects after a man was shot and killed in an apparent robbery outside of a nightclub.

Police released surveillance video Friday of the area near the 500 block of Whitehall Street, where the shooting occurred.

A witness told police the victim had just left a nearby nightclub when an armed black male attempted to rob him. The suspect reportedly shot the victim once and then fled the scene in a white Chevy vehicle.

The getaway car is shown in surveillance video pulling into a parking lot before a man exits the vehicle. The video shows the car hanging around in the area as the robbery occurs.

Police are trying to identify the man shown in the video and the owner of the vehicle.
