Special Election for Atlanta City Council Dist. 3 Tuesday

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Tuesday is also the special election for Atlanta City Council District 3.

The seat opened up in November following the death of Councilman Ivory Young, Jr.

There are nine candidates on the ballot Tuesday.

City polling locations will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If necessary, a runoff for this seat will be held on April 16.
