Pearl, a 5-year-old service dog, went missing Saturday afternoon and her owner is asking for the public’s help to find her.

Dexter Glover says he and Pearl were near Ashby MARTA station on Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard when she took off running toward Joseph E. Boone Boulevard. Glover says Pearl got scared when she heard a loud bus or truck approaching and ran off.

Glover says he's had Pearl since she was born, and she helps him deal with his depression.

Pearl is a fluffy, black and white Shih Tzu.

Glover, a Fulton County resident, hopes the public can help bring her home safe.

Anyone with information about Pearl’s whereabouts is asked to contact her owner via email at dexterglover2000@gmail.com.
