ATLANTA - UPDATE AT 8 A.M. All lanes have reopened on Interstate 285 NB near Arthur Langford Parkway in Fulton County after a truck fire on Monday night. Drivers are still facing delays in the area.

UPDATE AT 6:30 A.M. TUESDAY: All lanes remained on Interstate 285 NB near Arthur Langford Parkway in Fulton County remain closed on Tuesday morning. At this time, it is not known when they will reopen.

Semi-truck fire causes lane closures

Parts of I-285 in southwest Atlanta are shut down due to a tractor trailer fire. Firefighters say the big rig was carrying 18 pallets of liquid latex.

The Atlanta Fire and Rescue Department is battling a semi-truck fire on I-285. Officials said that big rig was traveling north, carrying 18 pallets of liquid latex.

Three northbound lanes near Arthur Langford Parkway have been shut down, causing a traffic jam.
