GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police are investigating a home invasion that ended in a stabbing in Duluth.
According to Gwinnett County Police, the incident happened at a home on the 2500 block of Duluth Highway around 4:30 Saturday morning.
Police say two Hispanic males broke into the home and tied up the residents. The two suspects ended up ransacking the home to look for money "they believed the residents had," police said.
The suspects left, but not before assaulting the victims and stabbing one of them.
Police were told about the invasion by a nurse after one of the victims went to the hospital for treatment hours later.
