Police search for suspect in Clarkston home invasion, assault

CLARKSTON, Ga. - A man police in Clarkston has been cleared by investigators as being involved in a violent home invasion which happened Friday.

Officers responded to a report in the 3900 block of Market Street Friday night. When they got to the home, police said they found two female victims who were suffering from blunt force trauma.

The women told the police a single man had entered the home and assaulted both of them. According to a report obtained by FOX 5 News, the women were able to run away to a neighbor to call for help.

During the investigation, officials have identified 57-year-old Amos Green as a person of interest in the case. He has since been cleared by investigators.
