Police searching for suspect in Motel 6 shooting

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Police are searching for a gunman charged with killing a man in the parking lot of a Motel 6 in Lawrenceville.

According to a warrant issued last month, 20-year-old Tucker resident Kaylon Janard "Hooty" Jiles shot Eric Fisher multiple times on Nov. 5. Investigators said Jiles then fled the scene in a black sedan.

Previously, officers told FOX 5 that they were interviewing the woman who was with Fisher at the time of the shooting in an effort to figure out what happened.

Police are warning anyone who may have information as to where Jiles is to be cautious because he may be armed, be in possession of drugs, or be gang-affiliated.
