Police searching for suspect in gun store burglary

Loganville police are searching for a suspect who they say attempted to rob a gun store over the weekend, and they need your help to identify him.

Police said that they responded to an alarm call at Deaton's Gun Store at 3:46 a.m. on Saturday, March 3.

When they checked the surveillance footage, officials said they saw a suspect enter the back door carrying a crowbar, backpack, and flashlight.

No items have been reported stolen and police believe that the alarm frightened the suspect.

The suspect is described as being a light-skinned black man who is 5-feet-8-inches tall with a chinstrap goatee. He was wearing a white Reebok jacket.
