Police: Man trying to steal food truck opens fire outside Emory Univ. Hospital

ATLANTA - A man is in custody after police said he opened fire outside Emory University Hospital Wednesday morning.

At around 6 a.m., the man tried to steal a delivery truck from the Emory University Hospital loading dock. Officials said shots were fired by the suspect, but no one was injured. 

FOX 5's Marc Teichner was told the suspect was trying to steal a food truck. It's not clear whether he opened fire on police or the people who work for the food truck company. 

The suspect was taken into custody. 

Emory Police are investigating along with the Atlanta Police Department.
