ATLANTA - Authorities are searching for a gunman involved in a drive-by shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
The shooting happened just after midnight on Venetian Street in southwest Atlanta.
Police say the victim, a 31-year-old man, was walking down the street when a person inside a gold sedan fired at least one shot, hitting him in the side.
The car then sped off.
Investigators said the victim was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he’s expected to survive.
Police are now searching for the shooter, as well as two other people who were inside the gold vehicle.
There is no known motive at this time.
