Video: Robber points gun, fires at store employee

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Atlanta Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who took cash from a Dollar General. The incident occurred at 3565 Jonesboro Road.

Around 10 p.m., employees were attempting to bring merchandise inside the store to close for the night, when a man with a handgun approached them demanding money, according to police.

Police said the man discharged his weapon in the air when employees told him they didn't have access to the safe. The man ran away with cash from the register, according to officials.

No one was injured in the incident.

The perpetrator was wearing a stocking cap over his face. Police described the suspect as a black male, 5`6, wearing all black, grey gloves, grey shoes, and dreadlocks with blonde tips on the ends. He was also described as having a deep voice.
