Police: Drug deal turned violent, deadly at Atlanta high-rise condo

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police said investigators believe a deadly shooting an Atlanta high-rise condo parking deck stemmed from a drug transaction.

Police respond to the 400 block of West Peachtree Street in Downtown Atlanta just after 4 p.m. Saturday. Officer found the body of a man in the parking deck outside the high-rise condo.

Police said the man was shot multiple times.

Investigators said they believe the deadly shooting started as a drug deal which turned violent.

Information on a possible shooter was not immediately available.

The name of the man has not yet been released.
