Police in Dalton are searching for a crew of at least four robbers who ambushed a family outside their home, with two gunmen holding up the mother and flashing a weapon at the father holding a 10-month-old baby.

Surveillance video provided by the family shows the frightening ordeal in the driveway of the home on Chatham Drive in the Windemere subdivision.

"They could have shot me. They could have shot my husband. They could have shot my kids," said mother Brittany McEntire. "I'm angry. I want them caught," she said. Police are working to determine if the crew targeted the neighborhood, or could have even followed McEntire home from her shopping trip in Atlanta.

McEntire had just arrived home with her mother and kids from a shopping trip to Phipps Plaza, and was unloading belongings when police said two armed men wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts came running up the driveway.

"They pull out their guns... I start screaming... [they're] telling me to take off my jewelry, give them everything," she said.

Police the woman’s scream got the attention of her mother and husband, and both came around the other side of the car to see what was going on. That’s when police said the men pointed guns at them.

McEntire's husband ran into the home to retrieve a weapon, but police said the suspects fled after 45 seconds. She said they fled with her Louis Vuitton diaper bag, her Rolex and other jewelry.

Police said the men got into a white late-model Chevrolet Impala and a silver Nissan Maxima.

The ordeal has terrified the quiet subdivision that sits more than 70 miles outside of the Metro.

McEntire said she worries she may have been spotted with her valuables in Atlanta, and after making a purchase at one of the stores at the mall, was followed home from her shopping trip. Police are still working to determine how the suspects targeted the woman and ended up in the neighborhood, but believe they are not from the area.
