A Roswell piano teacher charged with molesting students appears to have taken his own life.

Atlanta Police say Palmer was found hanging in his cell at the Fulton County Jail Saturday morning. The initial investigation points to suicide.

Palmer was arrested in September for allegedly abusing two young students.

Investigators said two of his former students, now adults, came forward in August stating they were taken to a private, soundproof area in Palmer’s home when they were boys and were molested. The incidents happened between 2008 and 2012 at Palmer’s home on Stayman Drive, according to investigators.

Since his arrest, three additional students have come forward. All of their parents had not a clue that this had happened until they revealed it as an adult

Investigators said Palmer offered lessons from his home for the past 13 years and has taught at various music academies including at Georgia State University, for more than three decades.
