New video in Gwinnett County home burglary

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - New surveillance video was released by Gwinnett County Police in a home burglary investigation.

It happened in broad daylight at a home in the Imperial Crossing subdivision off Centerville-Rosebud Road.

The outdoor surveillance video shows as a silver Nissan Altima backs into a driveway on Imperial Hill Drive off Centerville-Rosebud Road.

Within seconds a number of individuals jump out and are out of sight. The homeowner said they kicked in his front door, went inside, ransacked the place, went through his closets and flipped over mattresses, eventually making off with some jewelry, a TV, and some other items.

FOX 5 News has learned the break-in prompted the homeowner to put in a security system including a ring doorbell and cameras.
