Mattie's Call issued for 38-year-old Decatur man
DECATUR, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police in Decatur are searching for a missing 38-year-old man. A Mattie’s Call, Georgia’s emergency missing alert for disabled or elderly persons.
Samuel James Hunt was last seen around 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 1 at the Downtown Decatur Chick-fil-A located in the 100 block of East Trinity Place, according to police.
Police said Hunt has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and is under the care of Georgia Regional Hospital.
Hunt is described by police as being 5’8” tall, weighing about 220 pounds, with short brown hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing several T-shirts, navy blue sweatpants, and black sneakers.
Anyone who sees Hunt is asked to call 911 immediately.
