Man accused of killing Roswell teens behind supermarket enters plea

The 20-year-old man accused of murdering two teenagers pled not guilty to murder charges Thursday.

Jeffrey Hazelwood, 20, appeared before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shawn LaGrua for his arraignment.

"Mr. Hazelwood, you have been charged with two counts of malice murder, three counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of kidnapping, one count of aggravated sexual battery, one count of sexual battery, one count of financial transaction car theft, one count of identity fraud, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and theft by taking. How do you plead to these charges?" Judge LaGrua asked Hazelwood.

Hazelwood responded with a simple “Not guilty.”

Roswell police found the bodies of Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis, both 17, behind a shopping center on Woodstock Road during the early morning hours.

Police believe he shot both of the high school students in the head.
