Legendary UGA Coach Dooley honored by ALS Chapter

ATLANTA - The ALS Association Georgia Chapter honors legendary UGA football Coach Vince Dooley during their Heroes’ Luncheon Friday

The luncheon took place Friday afternoon at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.

The organization recognized Coach Dooley for his long-time commitment to philanthropic work in the fight against ALS.

He Said he got involved after he was personally impacted by the disease.

Also recognized during the lunch was ALS advocate Linda Williams for her support and in honor of her late husband Paul.
