Health officials: Death toll from flu rises to 51 in Georgia
ATLANTA - The flu continues to hit hard across the nation.
State health officials said 51 Georgians have died from flu complication, including a teenager.

More than a thousand have been hospitalized as a result of the virus.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the number of child flu deaths across the nation has risen to 53.
Half of the children who died did not have an underlying medical problem prior to falling ill.
