Deputies call 24-year-old Michael Ladre Hill armed and dangerous after authorities said he shot and killed a music minister outside a food mart.

Authorities have now released the identity of the man they believe is the gunman in the February 3 shooting of 54-year-old Timothy Newhouse.

DeKalb County Police said that evening, the suspect was seen arguing with the victim inside the Soni Food Mart off Memorial Drive; the suspect then shot the victim outside the store. No word on a motive for the crime.

Police describe Hill as 6'1", 160 pounds, and possibly hiding out in the DeKalb area and Metro Atlanta Area.

Newhouse served as the Music Minister for New Directions Ministries in Southwest Atlanta. Church members said they have not given up on justice for his family and loved ones.

"We have these open wounds. The family needs closure. We need closure. We know what he meant in this world. We know what he meant to God," said church member and close friend Pamela Pinkard.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts of Hill is asked to contact deputies at 678-410-7310 or 404-298-8300. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
