Georgia Tech hosts software design challenge

A software design challenge for dozens of Georgia Tech students took place Friday.

Siemens hosted its Futuremakers Challenge at the school which is just one of six universities selected for the challenge.

As part of the event, Georgia Tech undergraduates and doctoral students worked all day to develop new software concepts based on Siemens’ research and development portfolio.

Siemens said it will announce the top three teams Saturday and the first place proposal will receive an investment of $140,000 plus a chance for the students to work with Siemens teams.
