Florida woman wanted in Gwinnett County credit card theft

Gwinnett County police are searching for a Florida woman accused of using stolen credit cards in metro Atlanta last month.

On January 30, a victim reported a car break-in in Collins Hill Park and said a purse and wallet were stolen. Not long after, the victim's stolen credit cards were used at the Kroger located on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.

The person accused of stealing the credit cards was identified as 27-year-old Amber Dunlap, of Lehigh Acres, Florida. According to police, Dunlap reportedly made a small purchase around $10 to see if the card would go through. Then, she's accused of trying to purchase gift cards in excess of $1,000.

Dunlap was seen leaving the Kroger parking lot in a white sedan, which was also parked near the victim's car while it was at Collins Hill Park.

Gwinnett County police have taken out six felony warrants for Dunlap's arrest. She's charged with entering auto, financial transaction card theft, and criminal attempt to commit a felony. She's also wanted by Covington police and Athens-Clarke County police for other crimes.

Police aren't sure about Dunlap's exact whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
