Fire at popular North Georgia hardware store

DAHLONEGA, Ga. - A popular North Georgia hardware store was badly damaged by a massive fire.

FOX 5 viewer Julie Long shared photos of the C&W Hardware in Dahlonega as flames overtook it Thursday afternoon.

According to the Dahlonega Nugget, the fire broke just before 5 p.m.

Crews managed to get water on the fire through the roof.

Witnesses said smoke could be seen for miles.

The publication reported no one was injured.
