It's been a little over a month since Deonta Wallace, 30, was shot and killed outside of his Verbena Street home. Since that time, few leads have come in and Atlanta police have hit a roadblock in the case.

Monday morning, family members of Wallace joined Atlanta Police to make a public plea for new information. Deonta's mother, Veronica, says there were several people around and neighbors know 'something' that could advance the case.

What is known: the shots were fired shortly after 11:00 p.m. on July 21. Police believe at least two vehicles were at the scene, and there were witnesses to what happened. Other than that, details of the case have not been released.

No descriptions of suspects or names of persons of interest have been released.

If you know anything about the shooting of Deonta Wallace you are urged to call Metro Police Crimestoppers. An anonymous tip could be the key to bringing justice to the family.
