Deputies: Hall County man hits man with car after argument

Deputies in Hall County have arrested a man they say intentionally hit another man with his vehicle.

According to officials, on March 7, 50-year-old Flowery Branch resident Mitchell George Tostenson had an argument with a man he knew on Montgomery Drive near McEver Elementary School.

After the argument, officials say Tostenson hit the man with his car.

The victim of the alleged assault suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, police said.

Tostenson, who deputies say already had several outstanding warrants for aggressive driving, assault, and obstruction, then fled the scene.

Ten days later, deputies arrested Tostenson at a home on the 2500 block of Paul Drive and charged him with aggravated assault.

He's currently booked at the Hall County Jail.
