Clayton County Police officer pulled from car after crash

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Clayton County Police officer had to be cut out of his overturned car after an accident Thursday morning.

The crash happened on Garden Walk Boulevard.

Georgia State Patrol troopers said another car failed to yield and crashed into the officer's cruiser.

Clayton County Fire and EMS worked to cut the officer out.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The other driver also was injured and is in stable condition.
