Brookhaven child rape suspects appear in court

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Two men who are accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy appeared before a DeKalb County judge Monday.

Kelvin Armstrong and Kevin Walker had a preliminary hearing Monday afternoon.

Police said the men dragged the victim into an apartment at the Greenleaf Rio Vista Apartments on Buford Highway.

Investigators said Armstrong and Walker then sexually assaulted the boy for more than two hours before he was able to get away and call for help.

Following Monday's hearing, the judge moved the case to the DeKalb County Superior Court.
