For a month now, police have been searching for whoever killed a music producer outside a clothing store in Midtown.

The shooting happened outside the House of Fresh boutique on Howell Mill Road in northwest Atlanta. The victim, 48-year-old Ferrell Miles, known as Ensayne Wayne, is the brother of fellow music producer Drumma Boy.

Drumma Boy, whose birth name is Christopher Gholson, spoke with FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell Wednesday. He recently re-opened the store where his brother often worked and helped out.

"He loved fashion...He was up here helping me out with the store and selling clothes," Drumma Boy said.

The music producer added he wasn't at the location at the time of the shooting.

Atlanta Police told FOX 5 News Miles got into an argument with another man before the deadly gunfire. Witnesses said the suspect then fled the scene.

Drumma Boy told Mitchell he lost the person he looked up to the most. But he appreciates the public's support. In fact, the artists shared that the store's sales in its first week of re-opening have surpassed its numbers during its first week of business last year. He and his brother worked with the hottest acts in rap. He plans to continue their commitment to music, fashion and culture as his loved ones await justice.

"We can only be patient and wait..." Drumma Boy stressed. "We have just been representing for my family, for his kids, and for his grandkids...passing on the legacy."

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Atlanta Police Homicide Unit at 404-546-4235 or contact Crime Stoppers tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Tipster may be eligible for a cash reward for the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
