The son of the mayor of Denver was caught on newly released body camera footage using profanity and a slur while being pulled over for speeding.

Police say the incident with Jordan Hancock, son of Mayor Michael Hancock, was pulled over in Aurora, Colorado in March.

The video shows the 22-year-old Hancock cursing at the cop and using a gay slur.

At one point, Hanock threatens to have the officer fired

"My dad's the mayor you [expletive] Ha ha," Hanock tells Officer Paul McClendon on the video.

"Well you're in Aurora, bud," Officer McClendon replies. "He isn't the mayor of Aurora."

The Denver Mayor's Office says Jordan has since personally apologized to McClendon.

He also had to pay a $275 speeding ticket.
