Adopt a gift for Valentine's Day in Gwinnett County

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Gwinnett County Animal Welfare is hosting its first Adopt-A-Sweetheart Valentine’s Event.
Officials said the special is from February 11 through the 16 where both dogs and cats are only $2.14. Adoptions fees usually are $45 for dogs and $20 for cats.
On February 16, there is an added bonus of gifts for new adoptions and a photo backdrop to remember the sweet moment, officials said.
“Adopting is a gift for both the pet and your Valentine,” Alan Davis Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement Division manager said. “Giving a home to a shelter pet is a memorable gift from the heart.”
All the pets from Gwinnett County Animal Welfare are spayed or neutered, have a microchip and are vaccinated.
