Baby born at midnight on New Year's Day in Atlanta

ATLANTA - With the New Year came a new bundle of joy for one Atlanta family.

Meet Baby Luca, the first baby of 2018 born at Emory Midtown Hospital came into this world at exactly midnight.

His mom said they did not plan to have Luca on New Year's Day.

She said Luca's due date was actually December 29.

Little Luca's mom said both she and her son are doing great.

Northside Hospital said they had a baby boy arrive at 12:36 a.m. and Grady Memorial Hospital had a newborn arrive at 1:37 a.m.
