How to register for the 34th annual Hunger Walk Run

ATLANTA - Registration for the 34th annual Hunger Walk Run to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank has finally opened.

The event will be held Feb. 25 at the Georgia State Stadium, former Turner Field.

The 5K has raised more than $9 million for the hungry in metro Atlanta and north Georgia for more than three decades.

This year, the events will also feature live music, a kids' play zone, and delectable eats from some of Atlanta’s best food trucks. The fun begins at noon with the 5K kicking off at 2 p.m.

Registration before the event is $25 for walker and $25 for runners and a $5 fee will be added for those registering the day of the event.

This is the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s largest event of the year. In 2017, the Food Bank distributed 70.4 million pounds of food and grocery products, enough for 58 million meals.
