The Georgia Department of Public Health has confirmed two additional travel-related cases of Zika virus in Georgia.  So far, authorities have reported three known cases of Zika in the state-- each of them travel related.

The latest patients were not pregnant, and have already recovered from the illness. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, one of the individuals traveled to Guatemala and El Salvador; the other spent time in Colombia.

Test results conducted by the Centers for Disease Control are still pending on specimens from other Georgia residents with travel history to areas impacted by the Zika virus outbreak.
