Publix cooking school offers Gingerbread House classes

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - It's a holiday tradition for many, but let's face it: Building a gingerbread house can be a complicated way to mark the season.  But if anyone can make this time-honored culinary custom a little less messy, it's Publix.

This month, the Aprons Cooking School located at Alpharetta Commons is hosting weekend classes devoted to making gingerbread houses.  The classes cost $60 per family of four (one adult is required per group, and children must be at least four years old), and include all the necessary supplies to decorate a gingerbread house.  Each class is scheduled to last around two hours, and registration is available online here.
