Murrayville teen gives back to Ronald McDonald House

Cailen Rundles of Murrayville, Georgia proves you’re never too young to make a difference.

At just 13-years old, he has Chiari Malformation, Hydrocephalus, and Traumatic Brain Injury. In the past four years, Cailen has undergone six brain surgeries and spent countless months in the hospital and at Ronald McDonald House in Sandy Springs to be near his doctors.

This Christmas, Cailen decided to give back to Ronald McDonald House by hosting a gift drive for children and their families at RMH. With the help of the community, his hard work paid off and he was able to make a donation of 750 gifts for Santa’s Workshop at Ronald McDonald House. In the days leading up to Christmas, children will then be able to “shop” for themselves and their families.

Cailen says he and his family hope to make the gift drive an annual tradition, adding, “The meaning of Christmas is giving not receiving.”
