Mardi Gras Celebration At Henry's Louisiana Grill: The biggest Mardi Gras celebration might happen on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, but the one happening in Acworth this week will be a close second if Chef Henry Chandler has anything to do with it!
Chef Henry opened Henry's Louisiana Drill in downtown Acworth in 2000, and since then the restaurant has become North Georgia's go-to place for Cajun cuisine.  Chandler learned to cook in Louisiana and then honed his skills with French culinary training in London before opening his own restaurant.  Mardi Gras is, of course, a perfect time to visit Henry's Louisiana Grill, as the staff is planning a major party on Tuesday lasting from dawn until midnight!   Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken got to help kick off the party -- he spent the morning at Henry's Louisiana Grill learning more about Mardi Gras food and customs (and doing some taste-testing, of course...).
